Sir, This is to bring to your kind notice that we have a mid-term exam due tomorrow evening (COL761 - Data Mining), and I agree that you mentioned about this assignment last week in class, but it will be great if you can postpone the deadlines a bit. In such a short amount of time, I don't think we'll be able to complete it in the best way we could have done. This is a genuine request from some of the students in the class, and we will be really grateful if you can push the deadlines by the end of the week or next week perhaps.

+1 Sir, As there was no hard deadline earlier, one day seems to be too short of a notice for submission. And we have a mid-term exam as well tomorrow so it will be difficult to complete the assignment by tomorrow. It is a sincere request to extend the deadline.

Sir, It would be difficult for us to meet this deadline in the given span of time due to the midterm. We sincerely request you to postpone it until this weekend at least.
The word2vec + tsne was due last week on Friday. As there was no class we agreed for tomorrow. Im2vec is simple. Can be done in a day. No extension Thanks

Sir, A just one-day extension will do for us. Please try to understand that we have already been occupied with some course at this point, and will at least a day to work over this assignment. Please allow us to submit this by Thursday. That will be very grateful.
This was given out last Wednesday 19th Sept. First part was Take word2vec on color meta data in pepper fry dataset and do tsne visualization (could use raster fairy) This is due tomorrow 26th Sept. To submit a) The TSNE plot b) The code for TSNE and word2vec c) Dataset if there are any changes
Second part: Im2Vec on images of pepperfry data and tsne visualization To be submitted by Friday 28th Sept (We will cover im2vec with a notebook tomorrow)
Its due on Sept 28th by midnight. Please note that Minor 1, Assignment 2 (download pepperfry data), and this assignment will determine midterm grades. Also note that projects and final will account for 65% of final marks 5% for class participation 30% will be determined by the Minor 1, assignment 2, and this assignment.
Also there will be a small presentation (1 slider + working code) + viva for both projects together in the last two weeks of class. We will discuss the details of this. Note the project HAS to be submitted by Oct 12th and no changes will be entertained after that.
Thank you
One doubt: As we discussed in class, not all metadata have the 'Colour' attribute info available (because it wasn't there on the website as well when it was scraped). We discussed that we can get the colour information from the product title, but I think we also discussed that for this assignment (Wednesday submission), we only have to look for the colour info corresponding to 'Colour' attribute.
I want to confirm whether it is the case, or do we have to look for the colour info in the title as well.
@raghavsi @vineetm Can you elaborate more on Image2Vec model ? I couldn't attend the classes last week, so I little confused about this.
Sir, could you upload the im2vec notebook on the page? A few of us weren't able the attend the class yesterday and having the notebook as a source to understand im2vec would really help us with the assignment. Thanks
I could not coveer it yesterday. It will be covered tomorrow Deadline for that part is now Sunday, 27/9, 11:59 PM.
Sir, Is the deadline 27th September (today) or 30th September (Sunday)?
It's the 30th of September (Sunday).
