Expense Tracker

A web application to help you track your finances.

Description

User is able to sign up for an account and log in. User's data is saved on a database and is accessible when a user is logged in.Functionalities include creating savings goals, adding income, and adding expenses.

Getting Started

• Create an account

Installing

• Clone repository https://github.com/ControlAltTea/expense-tracker.git
• Navigate to frontend folder and run 'npm install' in terminal
• Navigate to backend folder and run 'npm install' in terminal

Executing program

• In backend folder, run "npm run dev" to start backend server
• In frontend folder, run "npm run dev" to host local development server and (Ctrl + Click) the url in the terminal to open the webpage.
