The touch screen allows for some control of basic functions as well.

Thank you for posting the functions by button for NEX-5R..

Without physical camera to test, I did choose the buttons looking the camera images on the internet!! (Be free to suggest a BETTER buttons configuration for that camera) 👍

Regarding MF ASSIST (magnify) I did not implement any settings through app, but you should be able to setup our camera o use it for some more time: MENU > [Setup] > [MF Assist Time]

Regards
