= Redmine Mail Sender

Add "Sender:" field to mails sent by Redmine.

Target Redmine version is 1.x (1.2.0 or higher).

== Install

1. Copy your plugin directory into #{RAILS_ROOT}/vendor/plugins. If you are downloading the plugin directly from GitHub, you can do so by changing into your plugin directory and issuing a command like: git clone git://github.com/vmi/redmine_mail_sender.git

2. Add "sender:" parameter under */email_delivery/smtp_settings to "config/configration.yml". (snip) default:

   Outgoing emails configuration (see examples above)

   email_delivery: delivery_method: :smtp smtp_settings: address: "localhost" port: 25 domain: "example.com"

   Add sender mail address as follows

      sender: "sender@example.com"

   (snip)

3. Restart Redmine.
