This actually works pretty good with hls streams from an iptv service... was able to watch some PPV sports on the samsung gear vr thanks to your help with this... one question is there a way where i can get ahold of you maybe you can help make it to where we can add a m3u playlist link and it can get the name of the channel and name the .mvrl with that and add the stream url... i noticed .mvrl works perfect with just a .ts link and under the link on the next line just putting _2dp.... would love to be bale to get your milkvrbatch to simplify the process since its over 100 links and daily change.

i'll take a look when I have some time. Been pretty busy lately. if you can provide screenshot and/or HTML source of what you see on your server that would help.

I updated my android app awhile back with thumbnail support. I don't think I updated this one. Let me know if the android app works for you (at least as well as this one). I'd prefer to just update the android app since this one is a little behind on the updates. You don't need a pc to create the .mvrl for the android app. Just need a universal media server running (Windows, Mac, Linux). My universal media server is an android tv box running linux

We actually just had our script php script creator create us a php file that grabs the m3u playlist from our server. Then outputs a zip file.. .then we created a android app that does the same thing it connects to the site creates a zip and extracts it to the server MilkVr with the name of the hls stream... it dose about 700 channels in 30 seconds and already there for us to use .... heres a look at our page http://dailyupdates.tv click on the vr icon to get the android app and contact to send us a message to get you a trial on how it works... its really pretty damn cool to see any live stream we have on VR
