Look at adding chrome-extensions or an alternative extension system. electron-chrome has some support for chrome apps.

Extensions to look at for testing

If you think we've missed one, comment and we can add it to the list

twooten commented 6 years ago

@Thomas101, "Trelabels for Trello" can be removed from the list. Trello has added this functionality so no extension needed.

RightInbox is a bit better than Boomerang in my long-tested humble opinion

Ymetro commented 6 years ago

I'd love to see MailTrack tracking my mails in Wavebox!

onfire60 commented 6 years ago

I'd love to see Auto-BCC/CC for chrome integrated.

dchersey commented 6 years ago

Not sure if this is the right thread, but is there a way to add a chrome extension like 1Password to the embedded web page options? I use gitlab, Amazon web services with 2FA and it's really convenient to access the password and then the 2FA code in web browsers, but they don't remember my multiple accounts properly. Wavebox lets me have a tab for each ... and it seems possible that we could integrate chrome extensions to these tabs but I don't see a way to do it.

@Thomas101 Any update on lastpass support? Having to always switch to browser to pull up username / password info defeats the purpose!

Thomas101 commented 6 years ago

Support for LastPass has been added to the 3.14.14 beta. If you want to give it a try there are some instructions on how to use the beta channel here

If it was possible to get Dark Reader, or something like it, that would be awesome and would reduce the need for manually creating and maintaining CSS/JS for services

Comptech22 commented 6 years ago

I need to plus up WiseStamp.com plugin...I'm hurting for it. I use Wavebox Pro for everything...Linux/Windows platforms to get things done...but not being able to brand my emails (and my employees) with proper signature is the hardest as a small business and the management of multiple personal/business email accounts. I have to keep using Thunderbird or straight browser to have it function properly. No complaints though...you guys are doing a great job of developing it...just have to be patient.

reatlat commented 6 years ago

Can we get some Ad-block extensions?

reatlat commented 5 years ago

Can we get some Ad-block extensions?

  1. The Ad-Blockers is 100% EVIL!!!
  2. with AdBlock your Chrome eat 3x of normal RAM eating!
  3. you F&%&%CK copywrites, who wrote excellent articles for you
  4. you don't see sometimes a really helpful and interesting ads!

WaveBox designed to keep your memory safe, make your computer faster for regular stuff like emails, please don't use the WaveBox like a browser! If you use it for specific web application which contains annoying Ads, just create a CSS with Important rules for hide Ads containers

.ads_container {
    display: none!important;
}
thewithz commented 5 years ago
  1. The Ad-Blockers is 100% EVIL!!!

opinions are completely irrelevant.

  1. with AdBlock your Chrome eat 3x of normal RAM eating!

Would love to see some proof for this.

  1. you F&%&%CK copywrites, who wrote excellent articles for you

You realize that most ad blockers have a white-list where you can specify domains to ignore and that allows you to support quality content, and ignore bad content.

  1. you don't see sometimes a really helpful and interesting ads!

I'm sure instead of "helpful and interesting" you meant to say "privacy invading and annoying"

please don't use the WaveBox like a browser!

Browsers aren't the only applications to use ads. For instance, Gmail, the service Wavebox was literally founded on, puts ads in your inbox under the "promotions" tab. image

phileasb commented 5 years ago

Can we get some Ad-block extensions?

Let's pay for your apps. You won't see ads any more.

arosboro commented 5 years ago

I was thinking more about emails that have those really ugly ads inline like powerinbox ads, which usually feature grotesque imagery for shock value. stuff I'd never be interested in clicking on, not the promoted content on google. Either way, I used @reatlat's tip and used the following custom css to hide it:

div[class*="powerinbox"] { display: none; }

rmnl commented 5 years ago

Missing 1Password on the list, but it's in the comments, so here's my +1 for 1Password (X) support!

wishx commented 5 years ago

Enpass Password Manager 6.x Google Translator Lite (or any inline translator) An Ad-Blocker with an option to whitelist and "zone zapper" to eliminate ad elements (recommended: uBlock Origin)
