"Hello, @waydabber! I'm excited to have the opportunity to volunteer for Korean localization this time.
Great, thank you!
updated the Localization file here: #2165
Just download BetterDisplay Localizations.zip
found in the opening post, unzip the file, you should open ko.xcloc
with XCode and start working on it straight away. If you are interested on how others did theirs, you can open other localizations in the zip file. :)
Hello @waydabber , I'm glad to be working as the pair Korean translator :D
@Ryan-Dia, Can you tell me the progress of the current work?
Thanks @hw0603!
Let me know if you guys need my help in any way or need coordination in dividing up the task!
I updated the localization file in the https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/discussions/2165 opening post to reflect the latest v2.1.0 pre-release version.
Let me know if you have any questions or issues with the translation. Also, if there is a partial translation and you want me to compile a version with it included so you can see the existing progress in the app itself, let me know! :)

Hello, it's been a while @waydabber
I couldn't reach other translators, so I'm sharing the results of translating some of the characters I worked on personally.
I worked on the v2.1.0 pre-release
version that was uploaded a few days ago, and I have now completed translating all the strings that begin with A through D into Korean. (Based on the total amount of string, the job completion rate appears to be approximately 40 percent.)
Since the 'string' was simply translated, there may be some awkward translations because the context in which the string was used could not be determined within the program. If you can temporarily build a version including this translation so that we can check the context, it would be helpful for me to work on it.
Hi @hw0603 - sure, I'll import this into the app and create an interim build + update the translation files.
Hi all, updated the localization file and uploaded an interim build. See the main post here towards the bottom half of the post.
I used the translation testing build uploaded yesterday to correct awkward phrases to context, and translated more strings. Translation of most strings has been completed, except for short words whose context is somewhat ambiguous.
The completion rate of the translation is estimated to be around 90%, and after one more translation test through the temporary build, I expect to be able to add the Korean translation to the official build.
Great progress, thanks @hw0603
I updated the build and the localization file.
I made some changes in how you BetterDisplay localization works. Here is the announcement: https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/discussions/2165#discussioncomment-8006022
ko.zip New ko translation file. It's not 100% translated, but hopefully it will help. If I find any incomplete translations or strange translations, I will fix them in the future.
Thank you @chihuahua-experience! The localization now stands at 87% (up from 55%)!
ko_0704.zip The existing translations have been partially corrected for mistranslations, and untranslated portions have been additionally translated. Some sentences were translated based solely on textual inference, so when the update is released, I plan to directly verify and further correct any mistranslations.
Amazing, the translation is now 100%.
I built an app version with the new translation included so you can review everything.
ko_0704_2.zip Thanks to your help, I was able to identify areas where the translation was not smooth and correct them with more appropriate translations. However, since i haven't checked the text of every item, i can't consider the translation to be perfect. I'm attaching the revised translation file.
Thank you @chihuahua-experience! Feel free to update the translation any time you find something you want to change/update!
This is a new translation for version 3.0.0. Additionally, some existing mistranslations have been corrected. ko_0808.zip
Thank you @chihuahua-experience! Korean now stands at an amazing 100%! :)
ko0811.zip Here is Correction of mistranslations and more natural translations!
Nice thank you! :)
An update with this is available as the latest internal pre-release (you can enable this update channel under Settings/Application/Updates)!
ko.xcloc.zip new Korean translation file tailored to version 3.1.1.
Thank you @chihuahua-experience!
