Ans. JQuery adds many functionalities in the themes and which makes it easier for the developer to implement on the themes but the downside of using JQuery is, it increases the load time of the themes and makes the theme little heavier. As we mainly focus on speed, so if using any library or frameworks increases the load time we will not use them anymore, until and unless if that libraries or frameworks are very essential for a bunch of functionalities.
