School1

School1 is an app to help students being more organized and saving time due to in-class syncing, helping them to spend less time searching for stuff, noting and keeping appointments and tasks, to have an overall more relaxed everyday life.

Getting Started

School1 is intended to run on the most common platforms Android, iOS, Windows (Phone) 10, OSX and Linux, and last but not least in the browser. To view or write code you'll want to have a look at the sections repositories and platforms.

Also, it aims to provide an excellent, platform specific UI to be intuitive and easy to use, yet powerful, optimal both in terms of performance and user experience, open to innovation and completely free.

Repositories

There is one repository for each development platform. Currently available platforms are:

• Android
• Hybrid
• Web

This repository is the master repository, containing general items that are important for all platforms and developers.

(Future) Platforms

• Android native
• Cordova Ionic for iOS and Windows Phone
• Electron for Desktop
• Web probably via either the files generated by Electron or Cordova

Versioning

We use Semantic Versioning, which can be reduced to MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, whereas

• Major are backwards incompatible changes
• Minor are backwards compatible feature changes
• Patches are backwars compatible bug fixes, performance updates and other minor improvements

This project starts with 2.0.0, as it's the second incompatible update (started with 0.1.0)
