Steps to reproduce:

go to https://tools.wmflabs.org/mmt/
select "Geographie"
click on "Show me Articles" -> List of articles about "Geographie" is shown
click inside the search field and type "Katzen"
select "Katzen" from the dropdown -> List of articles about "Katzen" is shown
click on "your interests" -> Still the list of articles about "Katzen" is shown -> It should be a list of articles about "Geographie" instead
