Update service check failure #197

I recently found that the update service doesn't properly ping when the period is set to "Once a week": the delay between the update check and the current date may be higher than a week.

Probably a small bug, but I need to investigate further.

Everything looks OK. It was probably due to the scheduled synchronization: when enabled, the update service is not ping anymore.
