2D color maps (reopened to pull from master) #197

I added functionality to attach a user-defined color map function (pixel value to rgba) to a labelmap for 2D rendering.

That's pretty cool - do you have an example online?

Hi, the project I'm using it with isn't live yet but I'll put a working example up some time this week to show it in action.

@rstones Have you tried with the 3D renderer? I just want to add the function for 3D rendering
