Yii framework API #117

There was a word around about some sort of Yii framework API that would allow:

Check for Yii version (related issue)
Get information about new versions
Provide OAuth for yii family sites #36
Browse extension market (is it planned?)

Other ideas?

Documentation should be accessible in API format too. I guess, it would allow better integration in other systems, like IRC bots and documentation engines like devdocs.io.
