Check if creatinine (serum/plasma and urine) can improve predicting model performance?

creatinine is a waste product of muscle, and expected to decrease with muscle wasting in ALS
it correlates with disease severity (probably lower motor neuron burden).
It's decline rate also correlate with disease progression.
it can predict the survival as well.
note that these are not the case if the patients have kidney disease.
kidney function and creatinine levels (serum and urine), need to figure what exactly the relationship between them, and how to adjust the level of creatinine based on kidney function?
