I want to provide a 'web' of notebooks, where you can have 'forward links' (regular links) and 'backlinks' - where you list all notebooks that link to this notebook.

Are indieweb webmentions still a thing protocol wise?

oooh, interesting. We should definitely find a way to use as much of these kinds of protocols we can.
