should we be lenient for definite articles in English?

• feedback was "wrong"
• i kept staring, had no idea, and then gave up and said "show solution"
• the fact that I was missing the "the" felt a bit like being let down...

But I'm not sure... should we be lenient in this situation or not? after all the "the" is the "en" at the end of the Danish word...

I think in this case, it's an important part of learning Danish to look for those determinants. I think what we could do instead is to provide a hint in case you write a correct part of a word, but you are missing something more.

I have given a test to this in the past, but the issue is when you have a typo in the rest - imagine if you had typed "helth" this substring check would fail. I had a similar issue with Bacheloruddannelsen:

I believe I talked with Merle about this one, but at the end of the day, after 1 or 2 incorrect attempts you should start remembering what it is. I think especially because now we limit the number of words, it will make it easier.
