Landing page - hero section minimalistic redesign
IMPORTANT: This branch is compatible with the current
master, so if it gets merged after #378, links in the Register and Get Started buttons will need to be updatedHero Section
Given time constraints (usability testing sessions that start tomorrow), the redesign is simplistic and mainly focused on the Hero section. It will have more iterations in the future. Also, at the moment, I worked mainly within the styled-components file dedicated to this landing page,
LandingPage.sc.js, without creating separate react components as I did for the Info Pages, so the code structure of theLandingPage.jsis similar to what it looked like before the changes. (I can, for instance, revise the structure in the upcoming PRs)Because the Hero section doesn't yet have visual content (illustrations), I decided to play with the typography (sizing) of the new text.
The titles in the "How does it work?" section have also been updated:
The content of these sections stayed the same for now, but the line height has been increased to improve their readability.
