Connected frontend to backend. Someone with mappypals gmail acct privileges needs to finish testing. Ky was not used - it had uncaught errors. Used regular fetch instead.

In package.json: "start": "react-scripts start && node --require dotenv/config index.js",

It seems @InteriorNature wanted to add a dotenv file to front-end, which we don't have and she also didn't add. Please let me know if you have other thoughts. :P

@InteriorNature this PR is in the master branch. Please change it to dev branch.
