Purpose of minigcc

minigcc used to learning and research internal mechnism of gcc and how Linaro create their various toolchain from scratch source code.

Prerequisites in x86-64 host(Ubuntu 18.04 x86-64, WSL x86-64, ...)

sudo apt-get install gcc-multilib g++-multilib

sudo apt-get install zlib1g-dev

sudo apt-get install qemu-user-static

How to build minigcc in Ubuntu 18.04.2

3.2) checkout minigcc source code

3.3) built minigcc

wgzhou:$ cd minigcc

wgzhou:$ sudo make prebuild

wgzhou:$ make

the cc1,cpp,xgcc,xg++ ... should be founded in directory gcc if everything is running ok as expected.

wgzhou:$ ./scripts/run_hello.sh
