Boarding Ramps are only usable by one player in coop

What happened?

In multiplayer, at any given time only one player is able to extend / retract boarding ramps. Other players' interactions with the ramps will have no effect.

Steps to reproduce

1. Put a boarding ramp on a raft
2. Try interacting with it with two different players

Seems it locks to only the Owner of the raft object, I and friends tested a bit, and when everyone gets off the first person to interact with the raft can interact with the boarding ramp.

This issue actually extends to all Raft mod objects on the "ship". Eg. Sails (none can change it but the owner)

That was my assumption at first too, but it does not seem to hold true every time. I have seen it with only a player not even near the raft being able to use the ramp while others (on the raft) were unable. And furthermore, it also applies to boarding ramps that are not built on a raft to begin with.
