I really like the idea but would also want to be able to hold down alt/option and drag with mouse to select multiple lines... guess that selection behavior would be another request.

I have installed this on Atom in Windows 7, and it seems to not work at all. Using the Alt key while holding down left-button and dragging to select, selection occurs horizontally.
