According to https://creativecommons.org/faq/#can-i-apply-a-creative-commons-license-to-software we shouldn't use CC licenses for software.
I would propose to switch to GPLv3.

Who is the copy of whom? EasyMesh or PainlessMesh?
One is MIT, the other GPLv3, but it's almost the same codebase.
