To run ROOT notebooks locally, as described in the JupyROOT documentation page, set up the ROOT environment (v6.05 or later) and in the shell run

root --notebook

to launch a Jupyter server.

If the binder for this repo isn't launching please check the current build status and either rebuild or open an issue.
