HBO Max is now "MAX" in the US

Hi there. The HBO Max addon still works in the US. But the website "hbomax.com" now redirects to max.com. So if the addon stops working for Americans one day, that is something it keep in mind. Perhaps you should roll out an update that responds to max.com if hbomax.com is not responding. That way, we're not gonna have that issue. Alternatively you could just create a separate MAX addon with the new MAX branding. The latter might be a better idea, as MAX combines all the content from HBO Max and Discovery+. So it might use a different API than HBO Max. Because when I search for Discovery+ programs within the HBO Max addon now, I get nothing.

I used to use max via Hulu on this add on, but the lip sync is off (only on Max on Hulu , not actual Hulu) Do you not have any lip sync issues with Max on this add-on?

Also, people often discuss the Hulu live channels here and I've tried responding that I can't get any of them to play other than local channels. No one ever replies, so I've still no idea about it.

I would do, but as I said, I've tried raising the issue of not been able to get any live channels on this Hulu add-on but it didn't get any response. I'm pretty sure no one else has the lip sync on Max issue either otherwise I'd have read about it.

I do see the audio offset problem, but for me it's not a big deal, I can ignore it or adjust the audio offset to 0.200s ahead.

Sorry, i personally am just asking questions to plan for the future in this Raspberry and MAX context. I have to pay for the MAX subscription even though I can't watch it on the device. If there is no MAX development for it, then I will look at another device, buy it and then go on with life..

Max is now available in Poland. The HBO Max add-on still works, but new content from Max is not available. For example, the fourth season of the series ‘Convicted’ is not visible.

I have American MAX and have been following the thread for a year waiting for the new plugin. I also have a Polish one which still worked with MAX PL today, now the situation has repeated itself as with the US account, KODi users are left with nothing.

The text to speech addon that lets blind users navigate Kodi hasn't gotten an official update in like 8 years now.
