Open metainfo2.txt of MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0480T, change SkipFileCopyChecksum = "false" to SkipFileCopyChecksum = "true". Then update.

Your radio is originally a skoda (5QO ...) someone unintentionally "converted" to VW ... did not change even part number to VW (3G0 ...) :)))

if you still want to update VW firmware, you need to edit metainfo2.txt and change the appropriate "variant"

I bought it from commercial website on internet and the seller is not supporting the issue. Yes i still want to update VW firmware. May i know how to change part number to VW 3G0, or change the appropriate "variant"?

thanks and sorry for the delay. I hadn't read it properly my mistake. I was supposed to replace the cpu folder with that of the one in the toolbox folder. Then it worked. Only trouble is that CarPlay still doesn't work. I've also used the SWAP code generator to input all available swap codes- they all say valid. But still no joy. Any suggestions what to try next. Hello again after 4 weeks, I see @yox2019 that you've come back, I hope you've rested (: But back to the topic, I have 3 questions / problems that have arisen or want to solve after our "experiments" ...

1. When I start the car each time the radio restarts 3x, it is troublesome when I want to go back immediately because I do not have a rear view camera when the radio restarts

2. Is there a chance for a correct CP patch?

3. When you were looking at my logs, you recently wrote that it would be good to create a new data partition because mine is "running out", then I asked what was going on, and you said that after solving the problem with the CP patch, you will tell me where I can look for instructions and in general what's the deal with, is there a chance now for a closer presentation of the topic or directing on what I am looking for?

@to0nk.. sorry but because of my private affairs, I am not able to assist you or do a cp test, I can advise you to read about the qnx system (formatting etc) then connect the unit using the "emmc method" description can be found on mibwik to a computer with Vmware and qnx, format the partition and do "emergency"

Yhmmm ... Well, if I knew that I would be left alone with it, I would not be in it, no matter what with this CP patch, but restarting the radio is very bothersome ... I will try to look for the procedure described by you, but without the possibility of consulting with someone who has an idea about this, as a beginner in these topics I will not know very well if I am doing it right.
If I can have the last request, are you able to tweak at least one link so that I can be sure that what I am looking / doing what you are writing about? And do you think that after this procedur, radio restart will also disappear? Because I don't even want to do CP patching more widouth support, thanks in advance.

CP patch is not supported on 01xx because you will get endless loop if aplly it. Nobody managed to find out the reason.

It is already supported. Your issue is because unit is H24 and was with fw 2xx from stock. Then some "smart" guy patched it and updated to 346. Now if you want to update it to 369, you need to do following:

1. Patch SWDL from Tools menu of Toolbox
2. Open metainfo2.txt in Notepad++ and with pressing Ctrl+H (tick "Replace All" checkbox) replace all \22\ to \18\
3. Update as usual. PS: If notepad++ is too difficult for you, use https://raw.githubusercontent.com/lprot/MIB-Tools/master/metainfo_link_generator.py Good luck!

Yes, you can update to 4xx. Then just replace \24\ to \18\ in metainfo2.txt of fw 4xx
