This specimen cannot be Cyathocline lutea. It mentions violet flowers and common- C lutea has golden yellow flowers and is quite restricted. I have followed this species for years and its very distinct from any other Cyathocline species.

inaturalist includes a filter to show GBIF datapoints on their species maps, but this filter is missing for some species or shows GBIF data from the species entire genus, which can cause misidentifications.
