This page erroneously synonymises Silvanus bidentatus (Fabricius) with Pityogenes bidendatus (Herbst). Silvanus is in the family Silvanidae, Pityogenes is in the Curculionidae. Most samples from Canada are incorrect. Please correct and verify all others.
