When uploading a program via arduino, is it necessary to set opencr to bootmode every time? if not, the port cannot be found and cannot be uploaded successfully.

The ROM size of the STM32 in the OpenCM9.04 is supposed to be 118000, but if I write firmwares biggest than ~57k, the IDE fails (region `rom' overflowed by 8 bytes)
