2) Figure 1 presents what is ultimately a relatively simple point, but the figure itself winds up being challenging to parse. I'm not sure a figure is even really necessary.

The main issue is that the results, in addition to be only declarative, remain rather vague: For Figure 4, it would be good to have information about how results depend on the background of participants or whether the results depend on lessons for example (i.e. +/- TDA).

This issue of preparation is borne out in two areas. First, the material in lessons 1 and 3 on command-line basics and an introduction to Python seems to be at a different level of difficulty compared with some of the more advanced material in lesson 4.
